10 things I love about October:

1. the wind swirling around the leaves
2. the trees changing colors
3. stepping on crunchy leaves
4. dressing up
5. candy candy candy
6. pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
7. carving pumpkins
8. the Y lit up on the mountain for homecoming
9. caramel apples
10. tights and boots coming out of storage

This really is my favorite month.
I can't believe that it is almost gone.

Interruption

Fall is here in Provo.
I thought you should know what I look at each morning.
Well, except for yesterday.
Yesterday was foggy and cloudy and rainy.
My carefully coiffed hair became a puffball after I walked about campus and got soaked.
I bought a cheap umbrella in the bookstore, but it was already too late to save the hair.
Curses.
On a happy note, I ran into Kenzie.
And I love that girl.

Autumn

I promised to put up pictures of fall, but it took me awhile because I lost my camera. I finally found it under some magazines on a chair. The same chair that Miguel sat on Monday night. My poor pink camera has seen a lot in its day. But its a tough little cookie!
So here are the pictures I took on the way home from school one day.

Crunchy leaves and jack o' lanterns

It's autumn time! I'm so excited because this is my very first autumn in a place that actually changes colors. I walk around campus and the beautiful trees are all yellow and red. I draw pictures of trees with different colors.
And have you been up in the canyon? Beautiful! I am amazed by the vastness of the mountains and the magnificence of their colors. I will take some pictures for you tomorrow.
The only thing that I have mixed feelings about is the dropping temperatures. I don't like being cold. So I am playing the Pollyanna game and making the best of the situation.

Some things that are good about the cold:

1~ Hot chocolate!

2~
Campfires

3~ Fuzzy slippers

4~
Snuggling in warm blankets (time to get a boyfriend! just kidding...)

5~
Christmas is coming!!!!!!

But first we must have Halloween. I am going to be Little Red Riding Hood. What are you going to be?
